Last weekend we had our Purity Banquet. We had over 150 people there! It was so encouraging to see students and their parents pledging to each other. We had the students read a pledge committing to keep themselves emotional, spiritual and physically pure. They were given a key to represent the "key" to their hearts. The parents then pledge to pray and encourage them in this. If the students should fail the parents are to lovingly restore them. As much as people debate on the effectiveness of this, I believe even if only a handful of these students keep this pledge it is worth it. Purity always is!!!
